Meet Daxie, the giant dachshund. His head tilted to one side, and his big eyes just willing you to give him a treat. 

Sausage dogs should come with a disclaimer:

• Must live indoors and sleep in a human bed under the duvet. 
• Will take up half the bed, leaving the humans to the other half. 
• Feet must stay dry at all times. 
• Will happily leave a little present on the floor if the conditions outside are not optimal. 
• Will get very vocal when hungry. 
• Will look at you with big, round eyes and tilt its head to the side in an attempt to get more treats. 
• Will bark at anything that moves, even you. 
• Will rival any cat at rodent catching. 
• Is endlessly cute. 

I found an old painting of mine recently, from 2006. I used to paint in acrylic and add fabrics onto canvas. This painting started as a watercolour, and turned into a mixed-media piece, combining fabric, a textured surface, and watercolour paint. It’s painted on textured watercolour paper, and mounted on a wooden frame.
